2005 - Royal Exchange Education Department

“Romeo and Juliet” Movement Direction / Physical Theatre Workshop with Ashton Sixth Form College, which was performed at the main house Royal Exchange Theatre on 12 December 2005.

2005 - Teacher training course (towards a postgraduate Diploma in Performing Arts Education) with ARTISEDUCATION

To provide interdisciplinary courses to primary schools in drama, dance and music.

2004 to date - Irish dancing

Support Irish dance teacher at the Burke Irish Dance Academy, Sale, Manchester.

2003 to date - Dance

Dance teacher with “Workshops for schools” delivering dance workshops from primary to GCSE levels.

2002 - The Twits (nation wide tour)

Worked with local community drama group members and integrated them within the professional cast to perform for a week at their local venue in conjunction with an eight month nation wide tour.

2001 - Irish Youth Arts, Coventry

Worked with a group of second generation Irish young people on a project “Crossing the line” - a fusion of Irish dance and street / hip hop movement - which was performed at the main house Belgrade theatre.

1989 - 1997 - The Hairy Marys

As a core member, performer and deviser of the Hairy Marys provided a range of dance, physical theatre, drama and devising workshops to women’s groups, graduates, youth groups and schools.

One particular school project for children aged seven and eight was “Theatre in a week” looking at local history, which culminated in a performance for parents.

In conjunction with nation wide tours provided workshops exploring physical theatre with devising and the fusion of Irish dance with other dance and dramatic forms.
